How does a session work?
An acupuncture session always begins with an in-depth consultation to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and current symptoms. This discussion allows us to establish a personalized energy diagnosis.
The practitioner then examines the patient's pulse and tongue and performs certain palpations to refine their analysis. Once this energy assessment has been completed, fine, sterile, single-use needles are inserted into specific points on the body with the aim of restoring energy balance (Qi). The insertion of the needles is generally painless; a sensation of warmth, tingling, or lightness may sometimes be felt. The session takes place in a calm setting and lasts between 45 and 60 minutes on average.
Does AcuLifting (cosmetic acupuncture) hurt, and how many sessions are needed?
AcuLifting is a natural and very gentle method. The needles used on the face are extremely fine, so the procedure is virtually painless; at most, you’ll feel a slight, temporary tingling sensation.
For visible, long-lasting results in terms of skin radiance and firmness, an initial course of three sessions in quick succession is generally recommended, followed by maintenance sessions throughout the seasons.
